If you’re at all familiar with GarageBand, you’ll likely recognise the Apple Loops used in Struna. It was written to demonstrate how to author realistic orchestral strings with a mixture of samples and synth voices. On reflection, it’s reminiscent of an arrangement on The Who’s Quadrophenia album (a favourite of mine), although the melody is quite different.
